Up in lights

Seating 700 people and protected by the national trust, the main auditorium of the Orpheum was the dress circle of the original theatre built in 1935. Mythical princess Atalanta of Arcadia stands either side of the stage in combination with the unique art deco designs and radiating starburst washed in sunset colours. CoLab jumped at the opportunity to work with the Orpheum creating grand lighting effects highlighting the ornate plaster features and hypnotic pre-set RGBW programming.
